Hours and hours spent as a child, in the quiet company of a piece of paper and whatever would leave a mark on it.

Art school years ago, back when every day was a pencil day.

Somewhere along the way, life led into the fashion world, where pencils turned into Excel sheets, creativity sat in someone else's hands, and there was no time to pick up a pencil.

In November 2024, the pencil came back up. A life drawing class in a pub, and after nearly 20 years, drawing again and drawing again from life.

A few months later, the first life drawing session hosted in my living room in Peckham.

That was only the first of many.

Since then, classes are every week and across multiple locations, alongside private events.

Hands are always holding that pencil!

The smaller, at-home sessions remain at the heart of it all.

The name?

The name says everything.

With (a)li coming from my name and life drawing from life drawing, (a)lifedrawing stands for a life (spent) drawing. Mine.
